Description
CompX National C9200
Application
C9100 & C9200 are the only mailbox locks approved by USPS for 4C (CBU) mailboxes. USPS specification “USPS-L-1172C” for USPS-STD-4C mailboxes for exterior pedestal-mounted neighborhood boxes. Keyway dust shutter for lock protection. Clip mounted.
Operation
C9200 operates counter clockwise. Key removable in locked position only.
New style USPS postal mailbox lock manufactured by CompX National. Lock rotation is 90 degrees counter clockwise. Supplied without locking cam - supplied with parts shown. Each lock supplied with 3 working keys.
Some applications will require the CompX National C7120 postal cam.
Normally, this lock works in applications when the door is hinged on the right. When in the locked position, key removal is vertical at 12:00, key rotates 90 degrees counter clockwise to unlock position. Key does not remove at unlock position.
