Not bad for a small machine
I got this machine back when I first started Locksmithing. I rarely use it after 6 years but it is designed for more a residential key duplicating machine then an automotive. I wouldn't use this for auto at all but honestly I would just go with a HPC blitz myself but just for duplicating keys this is the way to go. From what Ive seen also in the field is its better to cut a key to the original spec of the mgf then trying to copy one that is worn down. Just my opinion.

This machine cuts strictly house keys. Forget about automotive keys. No matter how much you adjust the depth it is not accurate at all for automotive. Being since I'm strictly automotive locksmith, I feel I've wasted my money. Do yourself a favor save your money and buy a professional machine. Machine is not accurate as advertised. **** Moderator **** >>> It will depend on the exact automotive key and how worn the key is you are duplicating. Transferring double sided automotive keys also depends on the key blank selected for the duplication and how well they ride in the jaw - there are many variables. This machine has a 4-way jaw - the jaw you selected and how you place the blank in the jaw could also make a difference. Thank you for your review.
